Welcome to the new website of Indiana's only all-breed equine club! The ISHA was founded back in 1933. We're an organization with over 75 years experience with horses and horse shows.

ISHA is the only ALL BREED association in the state of Indiana that offers something for every breed of horse and horse owner. We offer English, Western, Hunter/Jumper and Dressage shows at various dates throughout the year. Our goal is to keep showing affordable and offer a place where everyone is welcome. The ISHA is a family-oriented organization and we're excited that you're here to check us out!

2012 Show Bills

We're looking forward to the 2012 horse show season! Updated forms are posted including our ISHA Open Show showbills. Visit the Calendar of events for information on our two shows. The spring show is May 19. The Fall show is Sept 16. Both are at the Hoosier Horse Park in Edinburgh and offer both english and western classes.

In Memoriam: Mary Weeks

Mary Weeks
1947 - 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of ISHA President and beloved member of our club, Mary Weeks, who passed away on May 8th. Mary was riding in a reenactment, doing a sidesaddle demonstration – an activity she loved – when she felt ill. She collapsed to the ground from her horse before she could dismount. and was unable to be resuscitated. We believe this is how she would have chosen to go, if asked – surrounded by friends and horses, on a lovely spring day, sharing her joy of history and of sidesaddle riding.

Mary was known and loved by many in the horse community, in Indiana and elsewhere. She was passionate about her family, her horses, her dogs, and life in general. Her energy, enthusiasm and leadership will be sorely missed.

Her service will be on Thursday, May 12th at 1pm at the Abe Martin Lodge at the Brown County State Park. The celebration of life will be held in the Allison Peabody room. The family asks for donations to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.

Join ISHA
Complete a nomination form for each division you're riding: GAG through Prelim ($10/nomination)
All dressage classes, CTs, Event Derbies and Horse Trials are included
Mail nomination form to Sarah Cowan, 4721 N 50 E, Greenfield, IN 46140
Accumulate points every time you compete at Come Again Farm
Mail record form to Sarah Cowan (at the above address) by October 1, 2011 (Oct - Dec count for 2012)
Accept your prize at the ISHA annual banquet!

Get double points when you compete at the Spring or Fall ISHA Dressage/CT show!
